The correct address I believe is 654 12th Ave S St Petersburg based on a Google maps search.

The correct address is 638 12th Ave South; the abandoned duplex on the immediate west side of the alley walkway--sorry for the confusion!

I agree, this duplex is not maintained and the owner should be cited until there is a plan to make this property habitable.

I go by this place every day and I have never seen anyone gather here, homeless or otherwise. Never, not even once since this person has owned it. Previous owners allowed drug sales and drinking on the property but that was many years ago. This owner has part of a pedestrian walk way to maintain and there is constant work picking up trash and controlling weeds and fast growing plants. This walkway from 13th to 11th avenue can be a lot nicer to look at but it has been much worse. The neighborhood association has made this an improvement project. It has sponsored volunteer days to beautify this walkway. We removed fast growing Viburnum trees, got a new street light installed, put down mulch, got truckloads of trash removed and planted grown covers. It looks like someone dumped a truckload of trash just north of 12th ave a few weeks ago and I saw another pile today.
Every resident is welcome to join our neighborhood association and to work together to help make this part of the neighborhood better.
