I will contact the UPR concerning this matter however, it is too bad that UDOT and the UPR cannot talk to each other since there are significant numbers of RR crossings that should be monitored and maintenance coordinated. It would significantly improve customer service if the two agencies would just talk with each other on items like this.

Railroad performed a interim repair on the crossing but that repair has deteriorated and the crossing is as bad as before the repair and continues to deteriorate. On the left Westbound lane, cars often swerve off the driving lane onto the shoulder to avoid the transition over the RR Tracks. The transition on the Eastbound lanes are also deteriorating.

Crossing continues to deteriorate on both east and westbound lanes. Semi- trucks leave the designated roadway to avoid crossong the track on the road's main lanes. No seems to care about repairing it.

This issue is not even close to being fixed. The crossing is amazingly bad in both directions on a 4-lane road. Vehicles (including semi trucks) routinely leave the roadway to swerve into the median between the crossing arms to avoid the crossing. This is a high volume roadway but no one seems to care. While it may be the Union Pacific's responsibility to repair, it appears that the Highway Dept cannot coordinate the repair.
