Description

I recently went to renew my license stickers and was hit with a $600+ price tag in parking offences. When I enquired about the charges I was told that I had to go to one office to get a print out then another to file a complaint and was given the run around. After I received a list of the tickets they were dated as far back as 2008?! When I tried to get an answer from one of the many offices I have called and been to as to why these are so old and why in previous years when I renew my stickers every year these were not pulled into the report - the only vague answer I received that it was a glitch in the system and have to take it up with someone else(who/? no one knows). This year when I was expecting maybe a $100 price tag I am hit with this massive cost which I am not in the position to pay at the moment. I have asked around and have heard this has happened to others - why is there this so called glitch and how do we know these weren't already paid in previous years???? Where do we get answers from because every government/ministry office differs the blame to another office. It has bee quite frustrating experience
