Description
The storm left somewhere between 80-120 tons of mud and sand in the tunnel under Hammond Road on the Walnut Creek Trail. You'll need a bobcat/skid steer with a nice big bucket to clean this all up. I've never seen it so bad in the 2.5 years I've been using this route.

The issue is likely due to the creek barrels immediately south of the Greenway tunnel in dire need of sediment/debris removal, causing the overflow to spill over to the Greenway during high water. I notice sediment entering the Greenway tunnel via weepholes at the base of the tunnel. A thorough cleaning of all the barrels would help immensely.
