Description
Southgate is a neighborhood located near the Texas medical center. Much of the neighborhood has residential permit parking. This one block side street of Montclair at Southgate Blvd is filled with non residential parkers and daily M-F that illegally park too close to the stop sign making it dangerous. Please erecting a no parking sign 30' from stop sign if not entirely for this one block. It's a side street. Super dangerous and close to the elementary school.

A. Cars are routinely parking close to stop sign. Today 2-3 cars are parked within 30' of stop sign. Please ticket these cars and put up a "no parking From here to stop sign". It's a hazard near school for walkers, kids and cars!

Work Order Completed in Infor by 090969 on 2016-08-17T07:59:55.000-05:00 with comments - A field investigation for illegal parking, too close to Stop sign, was conducted on 8/8/2016 at 12:30PM for Southgate and Montclair. The investigation determined that Southgate an (E&W) bound uncontrolled street is intersected by (N&S) bound Montclair Stop sign controlled both bounds. The investigation found a vehicle heading (SB) on Montclair illegally parked directly in front of the Stop sign, an illegal parking violation subject to State Code and City Ordinance enforceable by booth (HPD) and Parking Management. No seeclickfix requester contact available.
RECOMMENDATIONS: A request will be forwarded to Parking Management with 1-photograph for reference purposes to conduct enforcement for illegal parking too close to the Stop sign for Montclair (SB) traffic at Southgate as indicated on accompanying photograph.. I am emailing this over to Melonie Curry of Parking Management on 8/17/16
