City of Canton Engineering Department_1 assigned this issue to City of Canton Building Department

Today is the 16th. No progress seen. What gives?

Now August 19th. Bush still not trimmed. Sidewalk still an issue. Please notify landlord/owner and get it fixed!

8/19/16 Sorry for the delay, but due to the many complaints being fielded by this dept., we haven't had the opportunity to look at your complaint yet. I have been informed that it will be attended to very soon.

Tomorrow is August 31st. When will action be taken? What is the city waiting for? An elderly gentleman using a walker to get hit because the property owner could care less about the deplorable sidewalk that forces him to use the street? The bush on the corner? TRIM IT DOWN!!!!!!!

9/1/16 posted for sidewalk. owner called and stated that they are looking into the sidewalk program. The bush is not an issue at this time. It does not block view of right-of-way.

At this point in the year, there is no money left in the sidewalk program. They can check next year

So I'll bring it up on here before next spring to make damn sure it is taken care of. I have checked property records and I know who the owner is. They will also be reminded. I'm sure their sidewalk isn't in the same condition at their property as is their rental property.
