Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I have reported the HAWK signal issue on Cedar to our Operations & Maintenance division. In the future, to get a faster response, please call O&M directly at 517-483-4161. Have a great day!
It's not fixed yet. Closing these before they're fixed doesn't solve the issue (in my opinion). I love that someone in Lansing Public Service is reporting them up the chain; it's just the closing of them that doesn't make sense to me. Thoughts? I'd love to start a dialog on this. Thanks in advance!
Closing the issue before it's fixed does allow you the option of starting the awareness over again. Repetitive action where LPS acknowledges puts a mark in the sand.
Keeping the issue open allows continuous and flowing discussion in a limited venue.
Each with their advantage.
I'd like to see LPS log in the service number tracking so it's present in each issue. It provides for more efficient communication when identifying what the issue is.
Good additional comment! Is their tracking system accessible to mere mortals like us, though? Still, it's a good reference should we need it when reposting and/or following up on an issue.
