Thank you for your suggestion. Whenever I've contacted the police about towing, they tell me that they cannot tow a car. Besides, my police district does monitor this site. Plus Philly311 also received a notice about this request. The purpose of this site is to get things fixed, hence I posted here. By posting here, several interested/responsible parties are made aware of this issue. Thanks again for your help.

Good suggestion but the PPA does not enforce parking in this neighborhood. The police do.

I reported this on SeeClickFix about two weeks ago and nothing has happened. Thanks to all of you for voicing your support too.
I have also submitted a complaint to the 5th police district on http://www.ppdonline.org/confirm.php.
Maybe if we continue to make enough noise this problem will (eventually) disappear...

I think that either someone is ditching stolen cars here or someone in the neighborhood is bringing out of state cars here for resale and parking them on the streets. There is an SUV on my street that has expired Florida tags with PA emissions and inspection stickers that don't expire until 2012. How can the car be "licensed" in one state but inspected in another?
