I fully support making this intersection a 4-way stop. Many of the intersections in our area without stop signs work because the streets include a dead end (Florio x Ross, Mystic x Rockwell) or a zig zag (Auburn x Florio, Harwood x Ross). As a result, people approaching these intersections do so with caution. Rockwell x Florio is different in that both streets continue uninterrupted. Further, Rockwell is much busier than Florio since many people use Rockwell as a pass through to Claremont & Safeway. These factors together with limited visibility onto oncoming traffic from Rockwell results in a hazard for all.

Stop signs on Florio at Rockwell are a good idea. I have seen one accident in that intersection myself. Stop signs on Mystic at Rockwell would be a good idea as well. On a few occasions, usually in September, I have seen a car blow into the Mystic cul-de-sac at high speeds, assuming that Mystic goes through, resulting in screeching tires. No harm yet, as far as I know, but traffic is heavier on Mystic and Rockwell now, and there are children living in the cul-de-sac now.
