Needs to be cameras for the constant red light runners on Old Hickory, east to west. They run through the red light (I was almost hit when I started a few seconds after MY light turned green) or block the intersection; preventing the off ramp traffic to flow through.

The timing of the issue is usually between 7:30-8:30; more towards 8-8:30, as the traffic picks up.

Still an issue. Again, I happened to be the 1st car at the stoplight. Counted to 3 AFTER light turned green, then started and someone came flying through. Close call again.
There have been no increased patrols in the area.

Good amorning,
A Metro Police Officer sat and watched the traffic light cycle 5 times. Each time the light stayed green for 42 seconds, and cleared the ramp each time. They did not see where there is any issue or problem with this particular traffic light. A request(325091) has also been sent to Public Works Traffic & Parking to see if any changes are needed on the signal timing.
