all of the light poles downtown look like this. it's trashy and really works to undo everything the city has been trying to accomplish in the realm of downtown beautification. Beautiful trash cans, painted planters with flowers, trees, new sidewalks being built- and right in the middle are all these fliers taped to everything. maybe, contact the event hosts and ask them to stop? maybe make a public bulletin board downtown to give an outlet for these advertisements? Something needs to happen.
