My autistic grandson was hit by a car 12/17/15. I previously requested that a sign "Autistic child in area" be placed on the street near my home. I was told that it would be done. To date it has not been placed. I also requested another speed bump because the one that is here is not even close to where he was hit. Vehicles speed past my home and sometimes don't even slow down very much for the speed bump. Is there anything that can be done? My grandson is very afraid to venture near the road, he is afraid of being hit again. We have other children in the neighborhood that play basketball ball from a goal that is near the syreet.
