Per Park Maintenance, case was assigned for repair on 4/15/2010.

This has not been fixed. I called CABQ 311 after 2 weeks of no action to follow-up and next message was issue is closed. This is incorrect, as of 6pm on May 3rd 2010 potholes still require patching attention.

Thank you for your comments and the photos. They have been forwarded to Parks Maintenance along with a request for update on the status.

Called 311 again yesterday (6-10-2010) and was told once again by operator that they've never heard of this "SeeClickFix" site or that it can be used to report maintenance isses to the city. I was also told again that this issue was assigned to Parks Maintenance Supervisor last month and he closed it out as fixed and therfore the issue was closed by CABQ, (without the work ever having been done). So once again i have "Re-opened" this report with the city. i will stop using this website for anything else in future. Apparently the city can close out an issue w/o confirming the work was complete and w/o my confirming as the reporter that the work was completed, thereby making this site just another exercise in futility.....

I'm sorry to hear that the operator told you that. It's odd because Albuquerque 311 regularly uses this site to respond to citizen requests (see above posts by them) and many issues in Albuquerque have gotten attention on account of SeeClickFix. I wonder why the operator would've said that.

Our policy with closing issues is the following: anyone can close an issue but anyone can also re-open an issue. If an issue is closed prematurely, please re-open it to let the gov. know that they have more work to do to fix something.

We give everyone the option to close an issue because certain issues get fixed by citizens (litter or graffiti removal, for example). We let all of our government users know not to close an issue until it's actually fixed, since for many gov. workers the first instinct is to close an issue once it's been entered into the work order system.

I expect to see another response from the Albuquerque 311 soon about this unfixed issue.
