I had ready this to the city who said it was Caltrans problem. I then reported it to Caltrans. These are the same people who keep dumping their trash bags along Redwood Road as they drive along then the cars hit it and debris flys all over.

Sick and tired of it. The bags have been here for a while now and is only a foot or two from Redwood... ---- What does the City do with the camera a-top each intersections street lights? I have asked many in the City this but no one seems to know. Seems they can catch these people if the put the camera's to use.

I will send this to Libby Schaaf's Office. She lives near here and I am sure she drives by it daily. What a mess (no pun).

Maybe she can do something about these people who keep dumping their trash on the way to work at the Sunrise Senior Living center at Skyline and Redwood Road. I have reported this to Christine Ralls, Senior Clean City Specialist with the City of Oakland. Perhaps Ms. Schaaf's office and contact her and get the full details of the dumper. I have lots of info which I will not be posting here, but Ms. Ralls has the information. Could Love of Oakland please forward this information on to Ms. Schaaf's office?

I forgot to state that the trash is the same as has been being dumped along Redwood Road for about five months now. I can tell it is the same people by the garbage bags and what is inside them: paper plates; used diapers; cereal boxes; milk cartons, etc. These were originally open and were spilling garbage around the traffic island. A good samaritan gathered up the loose trash and put them back into the bags.

Great info Redwood Road. -- I shared this link with Libby's office. Hopefully they will take the time to read and act. I dont mind helping the City out by doing my fair share but begging or forcing them to move is getting old. Thanks for the info.

Try picking up dirty diapers off of Redwood Road along with the other trash in the rain. They threw their garbage bag out the car window onto the street Saturday morning and then again on Sunday morning. The trash flew all over the street and then cars hit the trash to make an even bigger mess. Like you stated, this is getting old.

City of Oakland Public Works Agency addressed this issue on 12/06/2012, service request # 436508.

The garbage was still there as of this afternoon. Can't wait for them to dump their trash on Redwood Road this week end. Grr...

Garbage still there...

The same person dumped another bag of trash on their way to work at the Sunrise Senior Living Center this morning. This time they dumped it further up Redwood Road, just West of 5300. The trash is all over the roadway. Same person, same trash. I have gotten to know what their paper plates, cereal boxes and diapers look like.
I did a Seeclickfix on it with a pic. I had to report it under Oakland as it would not take the neighberhood with the address for some reason. (It is reported as 5300 Redwood Road).
This has got to stop!! I am about ready to go up there and confront them, but I know I am the one who will be getting in trouble.
