Description
The house at the corner of Brookes and Prospect street has an enormous pile of recycling which is overflowing and flying around. Today is Thursday 1/19 and recycling will not be picked up again until Tuesday next week. 5 days from now. There were 5 other houses on Brookes between Prospect and Willard that still have recycling or garbage containers at the corners of their driveways today. One issue this cause is fly around recycling or rotting garbage at the sidewalk. The other issue with leaving these receptacles at the end of their driveways. Is that this weekend when some people are walking down our street they might get the urge to turn the containers over, containers get kicked, relocated etc. all of these occur. Please remind landlords and renters to take care of their recycling and garbage containers to help our environment, community and quality of life on Brookes Ave.
