If those trucks do not have permits to sell than they should not be there. I too enjoy seeing them around but The harm to us is food poisoning and that is no picnic. I cant park on my lawn . Ordinances are in place.Some of these trucks are pretty disgusting. some move around as to not get caught. I'm not eating off it uggg

Mary ann the harm is that a unauthorized foot truck parked on the side walk brings down the curb appeal and property value. Think outside your belly...you must be a renter.

Hey Richard, To clarify. There is no sidewalk. The lot is owned by a church. The truck is across the street from the backyard where I've seen it parked. I am not a renter. I have never eaten food from the truck. I was speaking from the standpoint of an empathetic citizen to the need for more food/dining options in our part of town. In fact, we don't know that the truck is authorized or unauthorized. Or if Phyllis' assertion that the food is rotten is true or not. Please don't jump to conclusions - do your homework and know the facts first.

Actually you need to do your fact checking… There is a sidewalk on the south side of 54th Ave. where is this truck was clearly and has clearly been parking. And FYI the city owns from 10 feet from the curb so it is clearly a fact that this truck is parked on the sidewalk in city property… Not the church property. I've spoken with the pastor of the church and they do not want him parking on the property.

This issue is about code compliance… Not where you want to belly up to the buffet

FYI - If you see anyone selling food from a SMOKER - This is ILLEGAL and cannot be licensed. Report it to non-emergency police 727-893-7780 while they are in action. If you see the one that parks at the gas station on the corner of 31st and 54th Ave S that looks like a house and it says Pokies Smokin'. They do not have a license to sell food and they need to be reported.
