This was reported in January. There was a warning issued and Indiana plates were required by March 1st otherwise it would be ticketed for out of state plates. It's March 6th, and still with Illinois plates! 1219 West Fred St, bottom floor apartment. Is this gonna be ignored like 90% of the other issues on here? At this point, everything off of here should be printed and put on the mayors desk.

They'll give a slap on the wrist and give them more time. I would assume that the city of whiting pays for this 311 application. If so, what a waste. I understand that this app is NOT monitored 24/7 but it's almost a waste to post anything on here anymore. I suggest call 911 state its not an emergency, they will connect you to the proper department and something will get done THAT DAY, not a week or month like it seems to take if posted through this.

At this point we should all flood the mayor's email with complaints. Why even have this app if hardly anything gets addressed? Parking is already an issue in Whiting, so these improperly registered vehicles are a sore spot with us residents. It doesn't seem like it should be this difficult for our law enforcement to handle these situations.

Whiting police are doing a good job in my book. I see cars getting ticketed quite often. Nothing could make KSanchez or Nemo happy

Well, Whitingresident, that's fine if that's how you feel. We obviously don't have the same experiences, so it's kind of judgemental of you to single out two users who just want to keep our city law-abiding. State your opinion, but don't be juvenile and bash others.

This isn't the place to play the blame game. Point being they're fed up, like many other residents. This app was started to help with all those listed issues, and honestly most of them are open or acknowledged after months of being listed. The ones who typically don't see a point with things like this, are the ones who usually help contribute to wrong doings. What's right is right and what's wrong is wrong. Going through the city ordinance section of the cities website, clearly reads that most of these listed violations are in fact violations. There's no right in that. I'm sure the police have other priorities, but this app was developed solely for this purpose. I'm sure you don't live with either one of those people you mentioned, so it is really not your business in making them happy.

I don't know how one could be unhappy about it I walk around the city quite often. I see people's windows with tickets, as those green stickers. Then they come here saying they aren't doing anything. When it's clear they are
