Housing should do a scan of North End streets especially within one mile radius of SHU looking for excessive cars - and I thought SHU was maintaining a list of rented off campus housing

Once school starts in September, police need to go through north end and check all condos in housing – landlords rent to too many people over housing code and this goes on your after year after year.

Thank you for the updated information. The City of Bridgeport is very aware of the widespread car issues at houses that are rented by SHU students during the school year. This is something that the council members in the North End have been trying to address for quite some time. The Bridgeport PD and the Zoning Department are trying to work more closely Sacred Heart to monitor these houses and ensure compliance with local law. While we anticipate further reports of this kind going forward, we hope to make progress with SHU in the coming school year.
