Dear Constituent: Here's what I received from the Water Works' director...less than 12 hours after I asked:

Councilor,
We are aware of the temporary patch in the roadway and sidewalk in front of 206 South Street and it is scheduled for permanent replacement. My Foreman informed me that it is on the next scheduled replacement which should be conducted during the July/August months.

So it's been five months since first reported. The July/ August time frame has passed. How about a couple of shovels full of blacktop and we call it fixed. Thanks for your cooperation.
