I don't recall if I read the sign -- as there are several entrances to this park, I may not have passed the sign. And I challenge your statement that "the city would be full of such signs." I wander about a lot, and I have not encountered such a large and illogical (that is, hard to predict) cul-de-sac as this one. I think some effort should be made here! If there can be a historical marker (though more than one at various entrances would be good), why not a small map of the area to instruct pedestrians?
Secondly, I really don't understand this site. An email I got recently asked me to "vote for" one of several problems that have been posted. How do I do that? And, who is supposed to respond to these issues that we post? Why do I get emails asking me if it's been resolved? I put it here so that someone (like the Star's Fixer, not me) would see and do something.

I need some explanation... Who is Larry Van Dyk? Does he have authority to forward this to Mr. Fixer? I thought Mr. Fixer checks out all postings for Toronto anyway, so how do I know he intends to do anything about this. Maybe LVD just wants to shut this issue down, as per his earlier opinion.
