Morgan and Steuben Streets between Warren and Washington Streets. Sidewalks are crumbling with piles of construction debris on Steuben Street. Morgan Street sidewalk is not continuous - broken asphalt - large angle turning holes, dirt section, gravel section and a little bit of sidewalk. High traffic pedestrian walkway. Desperately needs repair and be redone completely.

Thank you for reporting an issue to the City of Jersey City. We will investigate. Housing Code will be out on Wednesday 4/26/2017 to check the sidewalk. However, potholes are not handled by this office.

Ok we will be going out for the sidewalk Wednesday. If there is an issue with potholes in the street then it would not be housing code. We well send an inspector on Wednesday.

Any update on getting these walkways fixed? This is public right of way, correct? Can't the city make the sidewalks and bill later?
