This has been reported several times. Can something be done?

Traffic on Monmouth around Columbus is a nightmare, as I've commented many times before. There have been accidents at this intersection and a near fatality a few years ago. Will it take an actual fatality for something to be done? Putting up a pedestrain crosswalk sign (Monmouth and 1st) really isn't going to do the trick. More enforcement, speed bumps,etc.need to be installed.

The speed hump on Monmouth near Mercer street is ineffective--cars speed around it to avoid it and speed toward the intersection at Wayne where Dixon Mills residents are trying to cross. There used to be a pedestrian crossing at Wayne and Monmouth and we absolutely need that back. It's VERY dangerous to cross here. I think there should be a full stop sign at Monmouth and Wayne to avoid an accident.

We need to add penalities for excessive noise in this pocket. There are a lot of families on this block and traffic passes through very loudly even late at night (people on dirt bikes, loud music, blaring car horns). There must be a way to improve the road here and make it so that a noise restriction is added an enforced.
