Clean up scheduled

I do not know how to post more photos, but there was trash on Lilian's Bench today, as well as lots of trash tossed over the wall.

This area was cleaned up on a regular schedule during the year and again post season. The issue is closed.

But this area is dirty every time I go past it, especially the hill. It seems like the park is never cleaned except by the Beansies folks.

Hi, I live on Lake Street in a condo development "underneath" the Battery Park embankment/retaining wall... there is an enormous amount of trash and random things apparently tossed over the side of Battery Park that land on us. Empty cans and bottles, appliances, entire bags of trash, and we even found a (broken or stolen, who knows) Nintendo DS video game tablet on our roof last week. Idk what the answer is... more trash/recycling cans in, or better supervision of, Battery Park would be nice.

We will schedule an Earth Day and Green Up Day clean-up of the hillside in the spring. There was six day a week coverage for trash pickup at 9 am during the summer. Now that we're into the winter months, we don't have the resources to fix a request for more in depth clean-up of a pretty inaccessible area. Thank you.
