Will action be taken? I almost witnessed an accident here just today because a minivan ran the stop sign. I don't know what is wrong with people these days, it appears they've forgotten what a stop sign is. But for some reason this intersection is just particularly horrible. Thanks!

Today I was turning right and a minivan blew the stop sign as I started to proceed into the intersection. It's not that he went out of turn, he RAN the stop sign at I'd say around 20-25 MPH. It's not just this person, this happens here ALL the time. Sometimes for fun I'll stand on the sidewalk and count the number of people who run the stop signs, blare the horn, give the finger, nearly get run over, etc. It's as if people have forgotten the brake is on the left, and the gas is on the right. Yesterday I was turning left onto Jewett Ave when an SUV comes inches from hitting me because he ran the stop sign and was texting. One time there was a police car parked at the intersection, and what do you know, suddenly everyone was stopping, yielding, being extra careful etc. I even saw one lady put on her seat belt, ha!
