The graffiti has grown substantially over the past six months, and the property owner has done nothing to remediate the problem or prevent its growth. I fully support this request.

Posting an update of this issues current status.

I've been in contact with the Department of Neighborhoods. Specifically, Maritza Pedroza, Code Enforcement Officer III, at (832-394-0718). She provided me with contact information for the inspector or the "Neighborhood Protection Official" in the area as Mrs. Guzman at 713-408-0534.

I meet with Mrs. Guzman, just now, she told me that the building (at 1111 Live Oak Street) wasn't in her area and she couldn't help. When I pressed harder she gave me a phone number to call of 832-394-0600. She told me to provide my 311 issue ID (3383502), to them, and to ask to speak with the correct official for the area. When I continued to press and showed her the email form Maritza Pedroza, her supervisor, she said she would look into it further and call me tomorrow morning. I told her I would wait to her from her, or tomorrow afternoon if I didn't her from her, before calling Maritza Pedroza.

That's where we are at now. Thanks to the few of you who upvoted the issue on the 311 site, and those who may yet.

Garbage remains piled on site. Hazardous material can included. Witnessed the first rat I’ve seen in the neighborhood recently no doubt due to this stinking eyesore. Graffiti remains, overgrown weeds remain, someone is tearing down the violation notices. Enough is enough! Hire a contractor to clean it up and put a lien on the property. We are sick of this health hazard and eyesore in our neighborhood.
