Why does it take a private citizen to do what the DDOT should be doing?

I guess thats why they created different modes to submit service tickets. So the entire city can pitch in via phone, text, app. Sesame Street song "Co-operation makes it happen!

You are correct. They are also not "all knowing" with eyes everywhere. I am not the one fixing the sign. Only opening the ticket with hopes of it getting updated/removed.

"Hopes" is accurate. B.T.W......there are far too many street signs & lights that have recently been bent or turned. I suspect there are groups of vandals responsible of deliberately doing this to disrupt. Walk/don't walk signs turned so not visible to pedestrians, street name signs bent, and others hanging upside down because screws have been removed. Just sayin'......more than coincidence.

I noticed a few light twisted after the last few storms. Storm that ripped Gonzaga's Church roof off, one last week that had reports of tornado strength gusts.
