Description
There is a Berkeley fire trails trailhead hat gets a lot of use, particularly by Oakland dog owners like myself. A few months ago someone put up a disposable receptacle. It's been filled with poop bags and then some it's now overflowing. It needs to be picked up and this area would really benefit from a trash can at the trailhead that was cleaned out regularly. Thanks!

Hi,
I don't think it's Berkeley. When my car was broken into at this very trailhead I reported the crime to OPD, not the Berkeley Police.
I realize it's on the boarder of many territories and this is confusing.
In any case I called the Berkeley number you offered, and they redirected me to east bay regional parks district. East bay regional parks district redirected me to the Claremont canyon regional conservancy (related to the regional district of Sibley regional preserve) and they redirected me to uc Berkeley firetrails, which don't have a maintenance contact that I can see.
Again, when my car was broken into last year at this trailhead in zone RH-1, the crime was reported to and registered with the city of Oakland, and can be found on parcel 048H790000204 on oakgis.maps.arcgis.com
