Description

This park just went through a major renovation a few years ago. Since then, the work has not been put into keeping it as it was designed. The crews assigned to the park (Emeryville), seem to rush through and don't take the steps necessary to ensure that the park remains beautiful.

Lately, the flower beds have been losing their plants, and become overgrown with weeds, including fox tails, that are dangerous for both dogs and children. After bringing this up to the public works department, they send out a crew, who proceede to make things worse. Rather than removing the weeds and doing something to prevent their growing back, they just cut them short with power tools, and then leave. This only spreads the fox tails around more, and keeps them here to get into animal/people ears. Only one of the public works crew has been trying to actually do something about the problems and get the park looking the way we want it.

I'm sure that we, the tax payers of the community, have paid a lot to have the park redone, and are still paying for it to be kept up with. What we're getting, is not what we agreed to!
