This needs immediate attention ! Our city needs someone who can rectify these problems. We all know the mayor has done a spectacular job with roadwork issues but tbis problem has gone under the radar for far too long.

Good Morning, I did notify the Gas Co this morning about there trench that seems to be holding back water and causing a puddle in front of your property and splashing over. They'll be out as soon as the weather will allow Thanks for reporting

Thank You for contacting the Gas Company and addressing the road patch blocking the drain water from flowing correctly. Hopefully they will resolve this quickly. I hope you also examined the damage to the area sidewalks and roadways in the immediate area. This problem has caused road and sidewalk damage that appears to need additional repairs beyond what the gas company can do. First things first I guess. In the mean time I am trying to limit the damage to my property and trying to block the water flow from the street. Photo included.

Here we are 6/7/17 and nothing has been done to resolve this issue! What is taking so long? It keeps raining...water keeps flooding the area? What happened? no one has reached out to me? Gas company? Can't someone just go fix the issue? Just go fix it...

Hello Mr. Smith: The gas company's roadway restoration contractor will be on site this Friday to correct this issue within the street. Please also note that as we are finalizing our project funding for next fiscal year (which begins July 1), our plan is to address this sidewalk area, depending on available funding. I would anticipate that this sidewalk work would be completed in the fall of this year, after our summer road paving is completed. Each year, we typically receive far many more requests for sidewalk, drainage, and roadway repair and installation than our funding allows. Funding for all of these activities comes from the same limited pool of money allocated to my Department from the State. Our total annual funding from the State for all of this work is approximately $1.2 million. Our recent pavement management plan estimates that our annual paving requirement to maintain a "status quo" city-wide pavement condition on our vast network of city roads is approximately $3 million. Repairs for drainage, sidewalks, and other city-owned assets are additional costs that must be considered.
