The tree is still being strangled. How much is a mature tree worth? The sixty minutes max to knock out the knock-out segments in the steel grate provided to accommodate the tree growth? With all the activity at Hoyt Field for Hoops & Health, how about somebody taking care of this issue?

How fast does a tree grow?

I reported an issue Jan 19 of salt having been dumped over the tree roots at the entrance to Alberico Park on Putnam Ave. Nobody cleaned it up. That tree is now in its death throes. Maybe if nagged a bit more persistently, the city will do something about this tree. And this tree is being seriously constrained by the grate.

This issue has been open less than a month. There's no emergency here.
