We are part of a condominium association and my neighbors/fellow condo homeowners just informed me that the compost has not been picked up for two weeks in a row now. We take composting really seriously and we have no more space in our current bin yet loads of food that needs to be composted. Please make sure compost is collected this Monday, thank you!

    The people doing work at 6 et al 6th Street have had tubes running from this truck across the sidewalk all day - looked like they were pumping insulation - no permits appear to be posted and it’s now after 6 pm and they still have their tubing strewn across the sidewalk making a hazard.

    Traffic headed east on Mt. Auburn street that wishes to turn left onto Aberdeen is requested by posted signs to turn left 'only on the green arrow'. However, those signs are mostly ignored and are nearly invisible at night. Frequently while waiting to turn at this intersection, during periods when only the "straight ahead" green arrow is activated, drivers waiting to make a legal left turn are subject to road rage. Drivers honk their horns, yell obsenities, and often pass on the right or the left to make an (illegal) left turn, creating a dangerous situation. Why does this intersection not have a red left turn arrow to indicate when left turns are prohibited, instead of the highly ineffectual signs?

    For the past several weeks, the pedestrian crossing light comes on during every cycle of the traffic light at Huron Ave/Fresh Pond, stopping traffic in all directions. The vast majority of the time, there are no pedestrians present. This causes needless delays for drivers and air pollution while traffic in both directions sits and idles.

    Previously the pedestrian signal only came on when activated by a pedestrian. This was much more efficient.

    The small tree in front of #7, planted by the city a while ago, has done very well, but now has one long branch jutting straight out toward Cambridge Street at a dangerous eye level for many adults walking toward Line Street, especially in dimmer light. With the leaves gone, it's even harder to see and ought to be removed ASAP.

    I know there were a few posts on here in recent weeks about off leash dogs, and, as an abutter of Hoyt Field, I wanted to thank AC for the noticeable uptick in enforcement. There has been a big difference in our quality of life and ability to use the field during the afternoon and evenings! Those of us who live next to the field are grateful that there is a time for dog owners (including some of us!) to exercise their dogs, but also really appreciate being able to work from home, put our kids down for naps, and generally live our lives without constant barking and howling outside our windows. Not to mention being able to play soccer or throw a ball with our families without the at times scary interactions with off-leash dogs! All to say, thank you --- we see and appreciate your hard work!

    For almost 6 weeks a bicycle has been locked to the fence along our driveway at 12 Concord Avenue. The bike does not belong to anyone at 12 Concord Ave. How do we go about getting this removed so that the driveway is accessible for tree work and snow plowing?
