This is still an ongoing issue. These vehicles are still on the street. Now they have a minivan up on ramps.

Neighbors, their address is actually 1624 not 1622, have large winnebago parked on street going the wrong way on a one way street and it isn't parked in front of their house. They also have an old rotted boat parked across the street from the winneabago, along with several cars that are old. The boat hasnt been moved in at least two years. The Winnebago hasnt moved for about 6-9 months. They are an eyesore in the community, and it makes our street like a junk yard. Emergency vehicles can come down the street but I am sure it isn't easy. Plus neighbors have a hard time parking close to their homes. 1624 residents have guests that come to visit and they park blocking neighboring driveways because they can't park near the house because of all of these vehicles. They do this so they don't have far to walk which inconveniences those us us that live here. Sometimes we can't get out of our driveways.
We can't talk to these neighbors at 1624 because they don't talk, they yell and scream expletive words. They are bullies and threatening. This neighborhood needs help immediately!!! Please

Zoning Enforcement does not have jurisdiction over vehicles parked on the street. The local police department enforce parking on the rights of way.

Myself and a few other neighbors have called the police on that issue and they haven't done anything. The police have even been out here on a different issue and I brought it to their attention and they wouldn't do anything. I don't understand why people in this county will Not help us. Other communities won't allow vehicles to be parked on streets like this. Yes, we get these neighbors have current tags on the cars but they are pieces of junk that make our neighborhood look like a junk yard. Again other communities wouldn't allow this to happen. Why do we have to live like this?
Isnt there a law that states vehicles cannot be dormant for a period of time. Most of the these vehicles haven't been moved in years.

Planning and Zoning Enforcement - Ayda K. assigned this issue to Police Non-Emergency

It is my understanding that if the vehicles are legally tagged, they do not have to be moved. I am assuming that is why the police are unable to require their removal.

I went out to this address today. I spoke with the owner of all the vehicles. The RV was tagged and is eligible for towing on Thursday, 01/31/19. The owner advised me he sold the Camaro and it will be gone by the weekend. As far as the other cars, they are legally parked and have valid tags.

The RV has proper tags and legally parked.
