A new minefield of roadway in deep, deep disrepair is Sellers avenue between industrial highway Rt 291 and Chester pike Rt.13. All of the roads 50 to 60 years old concrete slaps have lifted or created an terrible and and dangerous driving surface. And on the other side of RT. 13 or Chester Pike is Swarthmore avenue, which likewise has fallen on a very poor state of level surface. It too has any number of roadway fallen in surfaces, lifted parts of the road surface and all these dangerous roads are in Ridley township. These 2 issues show once again how our infrastructure is slowly falling apart all around us. Please help !. These are "our" roads and our children using them !

The roadway is so fixed over time with cheap shovelful of asphalt, and AGAIN the road needs milling a new layer of smooth asphalt The township must be aware of the road condition as they too I assume they must ride on it also..

On a brighter note, RT. 420 N. from the intersection with RT.13 to the overpass of RT.95 has been milled and will be repaved shortly. My ever deepest thanks to the crews @ PennDOT.

I would like thank the Ridley Township for doing NOTHING to repair this sunken, potholed, and shifting stretch of roadway. It is so back I won't take my car up or down it. I'm still paying for it the back asked me to keep it well cared after so if it needs to go back to them it will looking great. only kidding but I still don't travel it out of personal care. it is getting very hard to weed out the really Tragic spots in the township, both there and here in Delaware county. I realize they can't do every one, but if it's been a few years now, there must be something on their list to fix, but this is one that needs mentioning.

As said, Ridley township doesn't care about this road. If you have an accident or break down on this road, your on your own.

OK, we're at that all important, avoid Sellers Avenue ad all costs. Ridley Township doesn't give a damn about safety or personal property and any damage claims are a moot issue to the township officers and leaders if I dare say. They don't care so proceed around the township. Go somewhat else to spend your money and not risk damage or injury. Have a safe holiday.

It is sort of strange that one of the wealthiest townships cannot find funds to repair this sad and falling apart road. How ever, despite the many complaints, and years that have passed, Ridley township refuses to fix this 1-2 miles automobile destroying road. Very Very disappointing.

This road is even more dangerous this as the year 2021 comes to a close. My only hope is that someone doesn't get killed by the ignorance of the township managers. Stay away from Ridley township at all costs.

Never thought Ridley township would EVER fix this road, but alas, they found the money and the discipline to spent it right !
