Unbelievable!! Sage is such a popular site for dumping and I am getting sick of it. Perhaps the city needs to offer an award to the citizens of Vallejo if they have information about those dumping. But citing someone doesn't seem to be what the City wants to do!!! Why??

I'm assuming the city is dealing with this all over the place. I would donate a day of my time and help clean up the area (and im sure many others would as well) if the city was willing to do SOMETHING to detour this from happening again. I drive this street everyday and its just getting worse ans worse. Maybe signs up in that area for free dump day?? I myself know how expensive dumping large items can be.

Thank you for reporting! Public Works has an illegal dumping team whose sole job is to respond to illegal dumping reports throughout the City. On average this team removes 1,200 pounds of trash from public property every day. We strive to respond to all reports in a timely fashion. If you see someone dumping illegally please report the incident to the Vallejo Police Department.

Like Jallen, I too would be willing to spend a day of my time picking up trash. Maybe more. I think maybe the city needs to offer more free service for those who can't afford the fees at the dump on a more regular bases. Signs may help and perhaps for smaller trash, provide more public trash cans.
