There is a good amount of gravel on the southbound shoulder from Hwy 30 toward Rick Prairie. The picture shows the worst section about half way to Rock Prairie, but loose gravel is dangerous for cyclists on skinny tires riding fast. Most will ride in the traffic lane to avoid the gravel, creating a safety hazard.
