Nothing has happened. The sign could easily be moved closer to the corner - it looks like it wasn't placed properly anyway compared to other street signs in the neighborhood. It is ridiculous to give directions to guests that include "turn left where there is no sign". I imagine that police/fire would liketo see the sign, too!
