Deskripsyon
We have been calling the mayor, calling the police, and sending pictures to you. Every night from 7 PM on, people completely block the bus stop on the corner of Madison Avenue and Leslie Road. The bus needs 25 to 30 feet of clearance from the sign to pull in, yet every evening, people are parked in the bus stop. I just got off the bus at 9:15 PM, and had to get off in the middle of Madison Avenue and Leslie Road because again, as you can see there are two cars completely blocking the bus stop. I have sent this issue to you and others. I am sending it to you again, but I am now also sending it to my lawyer. When I do drive my car, I will be parking in every bus stop downtown, and no way in hell should I get a ticket. It's not fair that I have to get off at night in the dark in the middle of busy Madison Avenue because a cop can't come out here in the evening and ticket the cars parking illegally here. This is about 30 feet up the road from where that sacred Heart student got hit and died before she even hit the road. If you don't start getting these cars out of the bus stop and women and children have to get out in the middle of Madison Avenue in the dark, it's only a matter of time before someone else is killed. The buses run until 11 PM – ticket the damn cars that are parked there from 7PM on. How hard is it for a cop to put a ticket on the window? But like I said, if in this continues here and nobody tickets people for parking in the bus stop, I am parking in the bus stop downtown when I do have my car and now that I have documentation if you give me a ticket I will sue the city of Bridgeport. Correct the parking problem. If you want to ride a bus line, then keep the bus stops clear.
