Irresponsible neighbors allow their children to rummage through our refuse and litter the sidewalk across the street with broken boards and wooden shelves as their "playthings" at 10 pm at night, then leave it there for someone else to clean up.

These neighbors ignore their children and let them run and scream at all hours of the night - midnight last night, for instance- and have twice before let them take other refuse to "play" with from other residents' garbage piles they have put out for pickup, only to have this refuse spread around and left in the sidewalk.

If you'd like to file a noise complaint, please call 311 anytime an incident takes place. As far as refuse mishandling goes, please advise your neighbor(s) in front of whose house these items are, to report as dumping to DSNY by calling 311 and providing us with service request numbers. Thank you.
