Thank you for your request this issue has been addressed by the Public Works Department, Traffic Engineering Division. During morning and evening peaks, this left turn cycles twice each cycle in an attempt to clear the pocket faster and more often. The volume of cars that use this turn warrant us reviewing the length of the pocket to determine if and by how much the pocket should be lengthened to. Please keep in mind, this is not an improvement currently budgeted for and would thus requires us to reprioritize budgeted projects in order to deliver improvements like these should be determined to be necessary.
