The City of Oakland Call Center has received this issue. It is registered as service request #754093. Thank you, in advance, for your patience as we work through a backlog of pothole service requests. Unfortunately the City does not have enough funding to repave all streets in poor condition. With limited funding, our response to resurfacing requests is limited to minor pavement and pothole repairs only. Our Street Maintenance Department will assess your street and determine whether temporary measures might be appropriate. Please understand that this work may be limited to pothole or other minor repairs, and that we have many similar requests. We will do our best to respond in a timely manner. The backlog of streets in Oakland needing pavement currently is $435 million and growing.

EBUCAPACAB has issued a travel advisory for Thornhill Drive. Appropriate personal protection equipment is recommended to traverse the flat mile of roadway east of Mountain Boulevard. 5 point harness and lap belt, helmet, mouthguard and steel toe shoes are strongly suggested. Please limit your speed to 11-1/2 mph through the school zones,
It's a small pothole? EBUCAPACAB, who are you (seriously) and who exactly is your travel advisory for? Travel harness? Hard Hat? Lap Belt? Helmet? Mouth guard? Did you forget climbing harness and petons?
Sorry, I am confused. Is this a joke, or am I missing something here?
As for potholes, the only way in Oakland these days it seems to get real fast repair on potholes is to get the bicycle coalition to call it a hazard. All the money for streets these days is going to road diets and bike improvements, so you need their help on bad potholes. Good luck.
