Dogs at the pound are left out for the entire day and all they do is bark. It's difficult to enjoy a nice evening barbecue with friends when the barking is non stop. If it were a neighbour's dog barking like this I would call bylaw enforcement to deal with, but when the dog is already in the care of the animal control officer who do we call then? I feel like it's been the entire summer that our neighbourhood has had to listen to these dogs. I realize that the closest neighbour is the lumber yard, but some of us are close enough to hear these lonely dogs bark day in and day out. Please, please, please do something about this; don't leave them out so long, stay with them when they're out, or relocate the pound to a more remote area where the barking doesn't bother anyone.
