I am putting both a homeless encampment and illegal dumping on this.
in the parking lot on one side is the laundrymat and other side is Walmart. in the parking lot there is now a white van that is there all the time 24/7 and some other cars there all the time. they are dumping trash everywhere and making a mess.

I don't see.a white van in the picture or any other cars near the garbage. Have you actually witnessed them there throwing that trash on the ground? Some homeless people can be their own worst enemy because a lot of them leave a mess. Not all homeless people leave a mess, so if you have not seen them throwing the trash out there you can't say they did. People that are not homeless are usually the ones that throw out piles of trash and drive away. Homeless messes are usually a result of them living in one place for a period of time with no garbage pick up and no place to put their garbage. The messes are usually left behind when they leave and stay somewhere else. If you have seen them throwing the trash out why didn't you say something to them. Since you obviously don't live there, and it doesn't sound like you have any real reason for getting involved, why are you? Walmart should take responsibility for keeping their parking lot clean. If there is a homeless encampment in the parking lot, as a business they need to take the steps required to resolve the problem. They can contact the police or speak to the campers straight out. It seems to me this clickfix site has created some busy body types that get involved in situations that don't involve them. People that make assumptions about things they see without knowing for a fact they are correct in their assumptions are not nice or caring people. If there is an encampment and walnart has a problem with it, they have the right to complain because it is in their parking lot and it can have an affect on them. If it was in your yard or next to your house and it was affecting you in some way, then it is your business. Unless someone hired you to be the homeless police try having a little compassion for the people in the van if they are truly homeless. Start by minding your own business. If people have a problem that affects them and their home or they don't feel safe in their home they should report it. Let the people that are affected by a situation decide what to do about it. Spend more time minding your business not other peoples. Be thankful you don't have to live in a van. They have enough to deal with, they don't need random people butting in and making accusations about things they have no first hand knowledge about.
Clickfix should not encourage people to go around looking for problems.

. you make perfect role models for all of us out here who don't do all tjose wonderful things you guys do. When was the last time you thought maybe putting a garbage can out and coming back to pick it up later to dump it. I know... never. If you are going to report a pile of garbage there is a catagory for that. It doesn't begin with homeless!
