This is where the ground is just washing away as the tides come in

And this flooding is coming through the seawall going into the drain

I would also like to know if I lived downtown, Coffee Pot or Brightwater area if this would get more support from the city?

You also need to put an auto start diesel generator at the pumping station in Rio Vista Park. You failed to even put the one on the trailer and hook it up during IRMA. That pond, the pumps and seawall all work together to keep the homes from flooding.

Update from Stormwater Department: A Stormwater Crew did go to location and repaired as much as possible. This issue has been reassigned to Engineering to be completed. Thank you.

Is there an estimated start and completion date?

Per what my contact at the city says for the past 6 months is that it is with engineering and no budget for it. But we “The City” have millions to spend on suspended ropes “ART” and the DOWNTOWN mariena yet when this seawall collapses it’s not their homes so no hurry and the so called fixed is already washing out.

A Stormwater crew was out at Riverside Dr. last week and stabilized the wall with pilings (5) and sealed the horizontal crack. This repair should keep the wall secure until replacement can occur. Seawalls and bridges are inspected by Engineering on a regular basis and repaired and/or replaced based on a schedule determined by age and prioritized. This issue has been addressed, is on the schedule and will be monitored for future consideration.

I'd like to leave this open, since a lasting repair has not been made. Also need to address the lack of a generator at the pumping station in Rio Vista park. all these things need to work properly for to keep our homes from flooding.
