Update: No action on this problem yet

Is there any contact person out there who can get this resolved?
It would be interesting to have a study done to see how much time & fuel is wasted at this one light over the course of a week. I would bet it averages out to more than 1 min of unnecessary idle time for 3 out of 4 vehicles. Not much per vehicle but I would also guess there are more than 10,000 vehicles through this light per day.

Update: No action on this problem yet, does anyone look at this website?

I give up. It appears there is no interest in fixing this light.
I will do as everyone else does;
when there is no traffic,
stop,
look all ways and go.

Still waiting for someone to fix this light. It is still on Timer mode (set for rush hour traffic?) and ignores morning traffic volume . On a fresh red, every vehicle can waste 3 or so minuets of fuel waiting for green, even if there is no other traffic. It has been this way for over 2 years now, and after calling it in several times and posing it here for 9 months, it is becoming obvious that nobody in Albany's government cares about wasting our time & our fuel

Still dysfunctional

It looks like this will never be repaired! The State, County, City of Albany, whoever this problem belongs to, they are not reading this (or they are ignoring it).
This light, and the one between Dunkin Doughnuts & U Albany waists time & fuel because they are not using vehicle sensors to make traffic flow more efficient. This has been a problem for over a year, and still is, (and probably will remain to be)!

As with all government, it is easier and cheaper for the highway departments to ignore the people even if it would save time and money for us.

Going on 2 years and nothing has been done to fix this issue!
Does anyone who CAN fix this read this?

Still not functioning, but there is hope, now that they are spending 18 million on relocating Washington Ave, MAYBE someone will fix this signal controller?

The best I can tell is that it is still on timer, maybe when the construction is finished, they will have smart sensors for all lights on Washington Ave?

The light is still slow to respond wasting time & fuel but it looks like some of the traffic sensors seem to be working now. Now if they would fix the one at Washington Ave & Dunkin Donuts, life would be good
