Description

As a resident of Laurel Street, there has been a pretty significant issue of debris on the sidewalk, including broken glass bottles, beer and liquor bottles and nips, used syringes, and trash on lawns and in the road. I personally have removed 2 syringes from my lawn, and just today someone threw a smoothie on my car in my driveway, and discarded the cup and lid on my lawn.

I've seen people drop trash on the ground as they're walking, usually coming up from Brown Ave or down from Northampton Street. The residents care a lot of our street and neighborhoods, and people using the street as a cut-through are negatively impacting our quality of life and our homes.

I don't have a solution, but I feel very frustrated that there a lack of respect for the area, when people work so hard to make it a nice place to live.
