Description
The two sets of lights (Tilly Mill and Peeler) need to have their timing tweaked. The problem is that the left turn onto Tilly Mill from northbound N P'tree turns red before the northbound light on N P'tree, resulting in a backup into the Peeler intersection. Cars turning left from Peeler into that turn lane then have nowhere to go except into the intersection, creating gridlock. I sometimes wait through 2-3 cycles of lights AT THE HEAD OF THE LINE before there is room to proceed, with a line of cars backing up behind me on Peeler.

100% agree. Although I have pushed my luck with the city on this issue before, I will again state, "5-way intersections do not work efficiently." Reference the lack of function of Dunwoody Club, Spalding an Roberts.
In my minds eye corrections would be to deadhead Peeler at N. Peachtree, right turn access and exit only. No left turn in or out. Remove the new light at Peeler Rd and N. Peachtree. All left turn traffic should be routed through Cherring Dr. and add a light at Cherring Dr. and Tilly Mill Rd. This would eliminate the need for a lot of left turns onto the main road.
