Descrizione

The Streets of Historic Downtown Wilmington are certainly showing their age, especially on North 3rd Street, which many tourists have to travel to come to any of the festivals held near Downtown. At many places the streets are worn down to exposing the old brick streets, which is kind of neat, but horrible for the alignment jobs on our cars.

all the streets they are paving downtown, as well as the patch work on market st and they still can't fix N. 3rd street

Also, any potential students and their families interested in Cape Fear Community College who come to check it out do not get a very nice first impression of Wilminhgton coming in on North 3rd.

Not only is this part of N 3rd Street in bad shape but it is also unsafe. This has been bad for more than 3 years now. I am glad that the DOT has repaved all of S. Front but now the same repaving must be done for the locals who pay taxes for these services as well as tourists who travel down this important thourough fair. Why must this town always move so sluggishly in repairing streets and pipes the two most important necessities for a city.
