We appreciate your concern. We will continue to patch this section of Green Lake as time/resources permit. As you probably know, the recent weather has been ideal for the formation of potholes (rapid freeze thaw cycles), and we have had potholes developing quickly all over the county. The real, long-term solution for this section of Green Lake (as is the case for many other roads across the county) is to resurface it. However, there is simply no funding available for such a project. So, our only option is to continue to patch the potholes as frequently as we can, knowing that is a bandaid solution at best. If efforts to secure additional road funding are successful in Lansing, this is the type of project that we would be able to do.
