Deskripsyon

The stretch of Green Lake road from Commerce road to Richardson road is filled with large pot holes. There are spots that have been filled in the past which are still rough but now there is more. Its hard to avoid them when the whole road is covered in them.

We appreciate your concern. We will continue to patch this section of Green Lake as time/resources permit. As you probably know, the recent weather has been ideal for the formation of potholes (rapid freeze thaw cycles), and we have had potholes developing quickly all over the county. The real, long-term solution for this section of Green Lake (as is the case for many other roads across the county) is to resurface it. However, there is simply no funding available for such a project. So, our only option is to continue to patch the potholes as frequently as we can, knowing that is a bandaid solution at best. If efforts to secure additional road funding are successful in Lansing, this is the type of project that we would be able to do.

Thank you for your responce. I understand that this is from the recent weather, but there were spots of that road that were horrible before Fall. I travel this road to and from work and I put new tires on my truck and would hate to have to replace them because of poor roads. I know the county will not pay for my new tires (and I don't expect them to) but it would be nice to be able to travel on a smooth road. I am sure I am not the only one in the area that sees this as an issue. Thank you for your concerns.

Dear road commission: ...."only option is to continue to patch potholes as frequently as we can...." Well, get your selves out there and do it that is what we pay taxes for isn't it? Actions like this (talk and no walk) are where reality supports the reality of the lazy arse road commission workers wasting our tax money.
