Description
Sorry, the car is located on Benson- just off of our Palmetto corner. I reside at 22 Benson and this car is along my side of the street- just before the corner.

Q. Please provide details for your request
A. There is a green Mazda Protege that is parked on Benson, just off of the Weybossett corner. It has been parked there and not moved since the new year. With the upcoming 12” of snow, I know this car will not move and cause an issue for plows trying to clean our street. I am fairly certain of this because this vehicle was parked on the opposite side of the street last month and didn’t move for over three weeks - which included two snowstorms and an ice storm. You can still see snow caked on its back window from the prior snow falls. I do not know whose car this is but believe the owner just “abandons” it on the street without care for the street cleanup in the neighborhood. I wish the car would be removed to allow the city’s public works department to be able to do its job - again, especially with the expected huge snow storm on its way. Thank you!

I hope my original dialog was sent with this issue.
The reason for my reaching out is the green Mazda Protege has been parked since the new year and I am almost certain will not be moving to allow city plow trucks to properly remove the snow on our streets with the upcoming foot of snow as this vehicle was parked on the opposite side of the street last month and never moved through either snow storm or the ice storm in between.
I am not sure where this person lives as the vehicle stays “abandoned” on the street for weeks at a time but it causes issues with the ability to plow this winter plus upcoming curbside access for garbage and recycle bins.
